    You have a separate tier for every species you play. Everyone starts at Low. Win five counted fights in a row to move up; lose five in a row to an equal or lower tier and you drop.

    The top. Losing to a higher tier never drops you, so there's nowhere to hide.

    What counts as a winYour victim's tier is equal to or higher than yours. Beating a higher tier counts double.
    No farming small dinosThe other dino must be at least 75% grown and at least half your size, or the fight doesn't count.
    No dodgingUsing !die or !reset within 60 seconds of taking player damage counts as a loss.

    Type these in Global chat.

    !pvp

    Teleport to the PvP point.

    !reset

    Teleport to the safe zone and heal up. Cures Glass Bones after you take a step. After the teleport, don’t touch anything for 20 seconds.

    !heal

    Full heal where you stand.

    !die

    Respawn. 30-second cooldown.

    !rank

    Your tier and win streak on this dino.

    !points

    Your points balance and active playtime.

    !quests

    Your daily and weekly quest progress. Full list on the Quests page.

    !check

    Privately shows the tier of the nearest player. Check before you 3-call.

    !diet

    Free: fills your carbs, protein and lipids on the dino you're playing. Once every 10 seconds.

    !preview <skin>

    Try any shop skin on your dino for 30 seconds before you buy it, e.g. !preview cosmic. Type !preview on its own for the list.

    !forfeit or !ff

    Concede the fight without dying. Your opponent gets the win and points; you keep your dino and get fully healed. Once every 90 seconds.

    !freeskin

    Get a random skin for the dino you're playing. Teeth, eyes and claws keep your tier colour. !freeskin off removes it.

    !hunger 0–100

    Set your hunger level.

    !link CODE

    Link your Discord. Get the code with /link in Discord.

    Using !reset? Hands off for 20 seconds. After you teleport, don’t touch anything for at least 20 seconds: no keys, no mouse, no chat. Touching anything while your dino resets can glitch you. You’ll get a message in game when it’s safe to move.

    !pvp, !heal and !reset need you to stand still for 5 seconds; !die needs 10. Moving or taking damage cancels them. Curing Glass Bones with !reset needs a fresh body: once the 20 seconds are up, take a step and it swaps.

    Getting in

    How to join

    1. In Steam, right-click The Isle → Properties → Betas and pick evrima.
    2. Launch the game and open the server browser.
    3. Search AU PVP Deathmatch and join.
    4. Pick a species, spawn in, and find a fight. Type !help in Global chat for commands.

    Server not showing? It may be restarting after an update. Try again in a few minutes.

    The one rule that matters

    3-call before you fight

    No 3-call, no fight

    To start a fight, 3-call your opponent. They must 3-call back to accept. Attacking without an agreed fight is a rule break and will be actioned.

    Earn points

    Quests

    Points are paid out the moment you finish a quest, and you'll get a message in game when it happens. Daily quests reset at midnight (Sydney time), weekly ones on Monday. Playtime only counts while you're moving, so going AFK won't count. Type !quests in game to check your progress.

      The server runs on a paid Sydney machine so Australians get low ping. Supporting on Patreon keeps it online, and you get some thank-yous for it. Nothing that wins fights for you; everyone plays on the same footing.
